Drain Cleaning Plumbers Waxahachie

WHAT ARE ROOTER SERVICES?

We’ve all searched for the best rooter services near me. In fact, clogged drains and toilets are the most often-searched plumbing issue. Professional plumbers have what equates to hundreds of thousands of dollars in tools & equipment to do the job right. So, if you find yourself needing emergency plumbing, look no further than the repipe specialists Duncan Plumbing.

WHAT ABOUT DOING THE SEWER WORK YOURSELF? DIY SEWER

Sometimes, DIY tools and techniques can help a minor clog. Do you want to go about installing a sewer line yourself? Probably not. Most often we hear even minor sewer issues that a homeowner attempts to repair themselves wind up much more trouble than they are worth. Did you know most plumbers frown at the idea of using drain cleaners & drain-o.? The slimy goo created in your drains will actually make the clog worse.

DRAIN AND SEWER CLEANING BY LICENSED PLUMBERS

When it comes to keeping your pipes clean and your drains unclogged, there are several options to choose from. The two main options that plumbers prefer are the use of plumbing snakes (or plumbing augers), drain cleaning machines and hydro jetting.

WHAT IS DRAIN CABLING OR ROOTER SERVICE?

A plumber’s drain snake is a long, flexible metal cable with a small, uncoiled spring on one end and a handle on the other. The auger head on the snake looks like a corkscrew. The snake works by entering the drain directly to physically contact and clear away the obstruction that is causing the clog. Plumbing snakes work great for minor blockages. There are actually different heads that do things from cut roots to simply clearing grease from the line.

WHAT IS HYDRO JETTING?

Hydro jetting uses highly pressurized water to break up and remove grease, sludge and even tree roots from drain pipes. Think of hydro jetting as pressure washing for the inside of your pipes, only more powerful. Tough build up and clogs don’t stand a chance against water at a very high pressure. The water clears everything in its way leaving the pipe as clean as possible. Therefore, hydro jetting is needed for tough jobs that snakes cannot handle. Prior to hydro jetting, our plumbers will do a camera inspection to check the condition of your pipes and to determine the cause and location of the problem. Video inspection is necessary to reduce the possibility of backflushing of sewage into other areas.
